So much is fading. So much is fleeting. Street art (stickers, graffiti, protest posters, etc) are part of what makes a city colorful, vibrant, & I wanted to capture some of that. Not least because so much street art reflects the dreams & dreads of a society at any given moment. I applied chromatic aberration (AKA offsetting) to them to give them a slightly otherworldly feel. ONCE WAS_
A place once celebrated for its aesthetics now desolate, abandoned, (mostly) forgotten. Cities are full of such fading grandeur. I wanted to capture a few of those places before the bulldozers come & take them away from the world forever. Images from London, Glasgow, East Glacier, Seattle, Fargo.
