What can you do with an old refrigerator? If you answered "Make a car out of it and then race it around a track," well done, you get a gold star. Chicago's local electric utility wanted to bring more young women into STEM, so we came up with a twist on the boxcar derby, the Icebox Derby. (Addys/Effie winner).

ComEd's tagline is Powering Lives, and we wanted to bring that to life in a bold, eye-catching way. ComEd is the only account I've worked on so far that wants its consumers to, well, consume less.

Before we turned fridges into racecars, we gave them to local artists. The resulting art-fridges (dubbed 'Metamorfridges') were displayed along Michigan Avenue.

FILM_

ComEd partnered with local actors to form The Single Bulb Theater. Writing credits go to William Shakespeare on one of these, though I doubt the Bard was imagining star-cross'd gherkins when he wrote the balcony scene.
